Business Events Guidance & Resources
Following the Prime Minister's announcement on 31 October, this guidance is superseded by the National Restrictions from 5 November to 2 December. Click here for more details.
From 2nd December business events may resume subject to the restrictions set out for each tier provided that they follow COVID-Secure guidelines:
Tier 1
Public attendance at spectator sport and business events can resume inside and outside, subject to social contact rules and limited to whichever is lower: 50% capacity, or either 4,000 people outdoors or 1,000 people indoors.
Tier 2
Public attendance at spectator sport and business events can resume inside and outside, subject to social contact rules and limited to whichever is lower: 50% capacity, or either 2,000 people outdoors or 1,000 people indoors.
Tier 3
Large business events should not be taking place, however:
- Business meetings of up to 30 people can go ahead with social distancing measures in place.
- Venue show rounds for groups of up to 30 people can go ahead with social distancing measures in place.
